Updated description that the server won't show up in internet play due to change master server to gog galaxy. I haven't found an updated version to use with the "new" gog update. Haven't test if it works on Lan.

I don't know, I don't have the Steam version I have the CD-version but I don't think this is included in the Steam version. Also I haven't tested this patch ingame yet but I have viewed the bink files (resolution is 1600x704 for cutscenes like changing planets and 1600x1216 for cutscenes that are dialogues).
Also your monitor need to support these resolutions otherwise the bink player will go to the default resolution.(source: filefront) (640x480 I think)

You can still get on filefront if you use the internet archive :), only their are some things broken like downloading files. It doesn't link to the gamefront download page correctly. :(
