Deadlypudding

Anyone who has half a brain knows that prolonged exposure to the internet will leave you with only half a brain. It helps if you understand the true meaning of the constantly used terms around the web. Especially the ones used in chat rooms, forums, and blogs that do nothing but convey the misguided opinion of some elitist jerk-off with too much time on his/her hands (like this one). I'll start off with the most commonly used terms.

1. LOL - A term used to descibe something that isn't funny in the slightest, but keeps you from sounding like a jerk.

2. LMAO - Something that is mildly funny and deserves recognition.

3. LMFAO - This is actually very funny, but should only be used when laughing at someone else's misfortune.

4. ROFL - A dickheaded version of LMAO.

5. ROFLMAO - A really dickheaded version of LMFAO.

6. ROFLMFAO - An extremely unused term, mainly because it makes you look like an unforgivable dickhead.

7. n00b or Noob - Scum of the earth. Only to be used by other scums of the earth.

8. l337ist - See above.

9. OMG - A term used for suprise. I.e. "OMG THAT DICK IS HUGE!"

10. OMFG - A term used for even greater suprise. I.e. 'OMFG THAT DICK IS HUGE, AND SO IS THAT CHICK!"

11. WTF - The most versatile term in the internet dictionary. It can mean disbelief and disbelief.

12. WTH - See above ecept insert, "used until one is mature enough to say WTF."

The next terms are ones commonly used in forums. Because of this they are slightly more obscure.

13. Flame/flaming - Despite sounding that way, this is not a gay term. Instead it refers to people being jerk-offs to each other. Which in a way is homosexual.

14. inb4"____" - Used to indicate that said post is done before flaming, topic lock, dickheaded posts, etc. It is a more polite way to be a dickhead while still being one.

15. Tl;dr - Used by an asshole who can't read more than five words before giving up on a post.

16. What is this, I don't even... - Used when some sees a topic they find pointless. So instead of rolling with it, they add more to its pointlessness. Also they have never heard of the word "know" appearntly, so they never finish their sentence.

17. Fail/Phail - Used if someone makes an ass of themselves. Of course anyone who uses this term also fails in comparison.

18. Owned - Used if someone is textually insulted in the worst way possible. Also applies to being seriously overpowered in video games. As with most internet terms, is only used by douchebags.

19. Pwned - Appearantly some douchebag couldn't spell owned so instead of being insulted for his inability to type, he was revered by others following his lead and began to use pwned instead of owned. As a result, most online gamers are unable to spell correctly.

20. FTW - Not to be confused with WTF (or to be thought as WTF in reverse), FTW is a phrase that means "for the win". Obviously, since this is not grammatically correct, it only furthers the ignorance of whoever uses the term. Used for things the poster finds incredibly awesome, and doesn't feel like saying they find it incredibly awesome.

21. FTL - The exact opposite of the above except used in conjuction of other negative terms in order to make the poster be seen as an ultra dickheaded douchebag asshole.

22. Epic - Used in conjuction with "win" or "fail/phail". Is only used when the poster is of limited intelligence and doesn't realize there are other adjectives in the English dictionary.

The final term used by internet commoners is perhaps the most used one, but is often used in the wrong connotation.

23. Fag - Despite popular belief that is a derogatory term for homosexuals, this term is actually used to describe a bundle of sticks. It is still unknown as to why the term is used so frequently acoss the internet. Some people even get offended by the term despite its unoffensive meaning.
