Well, only the Mega.nz version does the above. I redownloaded from moddb and works fine.

I tried to loot a boar, then game crashed with this error :

If you look at weapon proficiencies, the Assaulter has a more balanced approach, as it has decent handling of all weapon classes. Plus, it can carry more with very little penalty - this alone sets him above all the other classes, as you can scavenge more, and scavenging is fundamental for your survival.
The weapon perks and stealth bonus of the other classes can be easily offset by using proper tactics and weaponry.
