lulz! :D I've had similar issues with build, except it normally means the programs about to crash. :\

I'm overlapping sectors to get the effect but it isn't working.
I tried with walls out front, no floor/ceiling then adding walls in front with floor and ceiling and it didn't worked like I expected. Still worth a try! :D
Heh, this thing isn't crashing! :P
GZDoom does not like overlapped sectors and they will be rendered like this (or worse). But no crashes.

Description

Trying to figure out how to make Doom 64 style layer-over-layer architecture...

Overlapped sectors, walls out front, no floor and ceiling, 64 pixels high over a normal (and higher) sector.
It does not look good.
Walls in front with floor and ceiling does not show up at all and glitches the geometry much worse than this trick.
I can't get the effect, these are the ideas I had.
Remember, the point is not to use things modern source ports offer.
