I'm still not sure if the mod is working, or even loading right. My local data is in C:\ but I installed the game on D:\, and I have a folder full of different game mods and followed the instructions as best as I could, but I have no idea if the mod is really working. The mod mentions a new UNSC commander but when I go in Skirmish I only see the vanilla game commanders. Is there another way to tell if the mod is actually working in a quick manner, like changes to the menu or different music, or even a mod logo on the main menu?

Might just be the fences, but that's looking a lot more like an official UNSC base to me. All it needs is a few patrolling guards behind the fences for a weak respawning "turret" for extra flavor.

Got to Exodus and it seems like the swaps are working as intended now, even got a loadout swap with an AK and PP2000, which is a nice touch.

Oil rig level had it's normal cutscene beginning, which is fair enough as there aren't really Russian divers to begin with, and the initial M4A1 SOPMOD is a unique weapon just for the level so it's understandable that it wouldn't be swapped. Mission otherwise went as intended, friendlies swapping to the Russians and fighting enemy SEALs, which as it turns out are harder to spot in the urban environment and shade.

Onto the Gulag, again things work like the previous mission, however it's kinda a bummer that the player doesn't get a starting sniper rifle like the SVD or even a WA2000, but the AK given seems to be a special gun: It has a grenadier mount, which is normal, but using hand grenades like frags or stuns instead makes it look like we're shooting from the tube, which is odd but otherwise kind of neat. Our secondary PP2000 doesn't show up however, instead being the same AK but with a smaller magazine and faster movement speed. Weird, but otherwise okay.

Alright, a couple missions don't have the proper swaps, but it seems Cliffhanger has it working properly. I like the detail of Soap having an SVD instead of a Mk.14, though his aim seems to be a bit off. Probably should've went another round in the killhouse, hooah?

Edit: It seems that the Ranger missions for the most part still need working on, with the tutorial mission, 1st actual mission, and Wolverines thus far do not have proper palette swaps as the Rangers are still, well, Rangers.

I'm not sure about you lot, but does anyone else have trouble killing the flamethrower soldiers? They seem to take an ABSURD amount of damage before dying, often taking more than a whole clip of sniper rifle ammo. Mostly they just stagger and stumble around until they sort of die for some benign reason.

[Edit] I RETRACT STATEMENT, USER ERROR! Turns out I had BOTH Noville fixes installed at once, both the Russian and American files. I thought that I needed both and didn't know that I was supposed to use just ONE of the two, not both. Sorry.

[SOLVED, IGNORE]: Just played this not too long ago, the end to the level where you snipe at bazooka soldiers from a church tower to protect tanks brings up an error after beating the level. Sort of. See, after clicking "continue mission" to move to the next level, the loading bar starts up but cuts a quarter of the way through with the error: [G_ModelIndex: overflow] and fails to load the level, booting me back to the main menu.

During the Pavlov house level, after clearing all the floors it says to meet with Pavlov on the 4th floor, but going up there only has everyone moving around taking cover.

I think you got the wrong screenshot? This says it changes T-34 tanks to Crusader tanks but the preview shows a Panzer II.

GUYS, I think I figured out why it was crashing! The game was probably looking for the file AIDefault, but couldn't find it, and it would crash. What I did, was after replacing the file (and after making backups of course) was RENAME the aidefault_64Bots file to AIDefault, case sensitive. So far it seems to have worked.

Looks like it might be packing twin 57mm guns instead of the Quad Cannon's quad 23mm ones. Which should give it a better punch against vehicles but might do less against infantry. Either THAT, oooor the QC is operating under the Technical principle in which they all have different models but all act the same.

Basically an American Technical. ...What if when capping enemy buildings, they produce offshoots of your faction's equipment? Like, USA capping a GLA arms dealer lets them produce these ATVs instead of technicals, and Sheridans instead of Scorpions? Seems a liiiiiittle silly the US would hire suicide bombers and kamikaze trucks and all.
