I had the exact same problem a looong time back (think its about page 5 or so of this thread). The problem I had was an unpacked CoC gamedata folder from an unpatched version of CoC.

So, if you have an unpacked gamedata folder, it may be worth re-unpacking it or doing a clean install to see if that fixes the problem

Offhand no idea, but off the top of my head maybe dark blue for mercs, light blue for CS, orange for Eco, dark red for monolith, dark green for Army, light green for freedom. as for bandits and loner - no idea... maybe dark grey and lighter grey?

Other people may have better ideas on this, or even say its a waste of your time :)

Very much so! At the moment I cant see the difference between uncaptured and captured without moving my mouse over it :) So starting a new game makes it look like I own 3/4 of the global map even starting as monolith :)

As an aside, would it be possible to give each faction its own colour of cpatured marker so you can see at a glance who owns what?

Hey Werejew, did you do anything to the territory icon settings? with 6.4.2.3 I dont have red, white and green circles anymore only red or green "mission marker" crosshairs...

CoC 1.2.3 and WF 6.0.3 with and without UI fix work fine for me. But more than willing to concede it might be just me if no-one else is having problems with 6.0.4 :)

Ah, that makes a lot of sense... and I'm guessing the more "important" the target the more squads required?

Whats the actual logic/process behind a territory being marked as "owned"? I've got a number of instances where I've got 5 squads sitting somewhere, each squad marked as "defending xxx" but the territory is shown as "uncaptured target" and "Owning Faction: None". I've seen this in the Bar with about 12-15 duty squads just sitting on the ground defending an unowned bit of ground.

Hmm.. got 40-50 duty sitting in the Bar doing sod all, monolith not expanding like they used to and a lot of territory being defended but not captured. Also a huge amount more people in each area (which is fun). I've tried this with vanilla, AO3 and OWR3 just in case. Awesome update though :)

If its the same issue I was having it was an old unpacked gamedata folder that wasnt being patched by CoCdater properly.

A fresh install with no unpacked folders (or only the specific files you need) fixed it for me

Cracked it :) I must have had something hanging over from an old unpack that was causing the problem - totally fresh install and dark valley is fixed :)

I did some testing this morning and found that with Warfare 3 I can't go to Dark Valley at all.

1. Vanilla CoC - Patched by CoCDater to 1.2.24 = Dark Valley ok
2. Vanilla CoC - Patched by CoCDater to 1.2.24 with Warfare 3 and Trader Patch = Fail

FATAL ERROR

3. Vanilla CoC - Patched by CoCDater to 1.2.24 with AO3.1CoC - No Warfare = Dark Valley OK
4. Vanilla CoC - Patched by CoCDater to 1.2.24 with AO3.1 CoC and Warfare 3 with Fix = Fail

These were all on a fresh install of CoC which was then patched to 1.2.24 with CoCDater
