not on my end. I can play every map up to 63 bots stable. Some maps even stay stable with 95 bots, but every maps limit is differen somehow.

Delete the "Battlefield 2" folder in your documents. Then generate new key and apply with this from GH: Github.com

Always start the game via the start.bat and when you edit the .bat with worpad or notepad, check that it looks like this and set your native resolution:
start bf2.exe +modPath mods/Heat_of_Battle +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1920 +szy 1080

Use this 4GB patcher. Usually BF2 is programmed to use 2GB Ram, but 32-Bit applications are able to use up to 4GB of Ram and you can patch the game with this tool: Shorturl.at

Please use this tool. Click random and apply. You need to apply new key to connect to eachother, or the game will crash. Github.com

Did you have BF2 previously installed? I mean a different or even the vanilla version.

Deactivate Reshade when your computer isn't running this game smoothly. Press Schift +F1 or POS1 (Home) to open the reshade menu.

How can i add my own reshade? I put it where the games .exe is located, but Reshade isn't working. On BF2 it does.

There are no servers. It is just for you in SP or local play

You need the rank up exe. In the folder is the modified BF2.exe. You need to put it into the BF2 directory and replace files. The secons "Addon" is the BF2 key manager. This is useful, because it fixes playing online or in Lan when the game crashes everytime you try to start a game.

It is not an GPU driver issue, but the game is asking for a key and there is none. You need to generate a new key first and apply. Then everything is going to work, even the local mp.

Try to delete the BF2 Folder in the Document Folder. Close all unnecessary Apps running in the Background and then try it again, maybe this helps.

Use this tool on both PCs. Generate Random Key and Apply. The Game will run fine then!

I wasnt be able to get Lan to work. The Game works fine, but when i try to connect with a second PC the Game crashes to Desktop without an Error Message. I tryed to reinstall PB and reinstalled the Game, but nothing changes. Its just not working. Second is that i cant select other Weapons on Loadout Screen. Classes are selectable but not different Weapons.
All in all its an really damn good Standalone, in my Opinion the best. But pls get Lan to work!

is it possible to Start with 2 Commandlines on startup?
1. game.lockfps 0
2. renderer.drawfps 1

Game runs wayyy smoother then and i dont want to write it in the console every time on startup. TY m8

Installation is way to complicated

Iam playing this Game in 4K with a GTX 980 ti, Intel Core i7 870@4,2GHz and 16GB 2200MHz Oc'd Ram. I could play in 5040x1050 but i need to test it because such old Games UI are often really buggy...

Man this Update is awesome! Now the Game runs stable with 96 Bots in SP :D
And this weird Vegitation flickering is gone yeah. I love the whole thing, keep your work going!
This Game is my favorite for months now i saw your Mod first in December 2018. Please keep it going, you are really good at your Job man...
I would like to see more from you :)
