More updates from the Wispsoft blog as we prepare to launch Spirit Sweeper later this afternoon (at 2 AM EST!)

Lots of good news this weekend. First, Spirit Sweeper passed the iTunes inspection. I expected it to be ready by Monday, so I was a bit surprised to see it over on Saturday (perhaps Friday in US time). The fact that it passed in one go is really good news.

Above are screenshots from my phone of the iTunesConnect alert. In the background you’ll see a picture of my wife. It’s quite fuzzy but I think it gives quite the beautiful aura to the good news. We took that picture during our honeymoon… anyway, we’re ready to go live on iTunes!Oh, and I wasn’t aware of this, but you can provide early access to an iOS game by giving out promo codes before it launches. We learn something new every day.The reason this weekend was busy was because of another episode of server errors. I may be the CEO of this company but I’m very involved in the programming, having studied it in college as well. For the past two weeks, the CTO (my high school friend) and have been fighting tooth and nail with this server. We’ve been at work every weekend. We’ve had issues such asdeadlock, stack overflow and heap corruption. Catch once bug and another pops up. And now.. after running the stress test again…
