This mod is simply the best Total war mod ever, and just the best total war game. Europa Barbarorum was the best before, but EuB2 keep improving and when it reach it final devlopment version this mod will be hard to beat.
Why it great because you learn history, geography while playing. So for anyone who love history it pretty awesone. Medieval it my favorite era and even so this mod is my favorite.
The map is just the best map ever created, the recruitment and governement system deep are so awesone. But what it truly amazing for history lover it those description of region, units, building, some are unique. Every years the real history of that year that you can read.
The units model are probably the best of any MDTW2. Gameplay and battle feel nice to, as culture and need some deep management to avoid rebellions. Units recruitment by region and core province are pretty fun, as some of your settlement are capital, other can just be farm, or other wont worth keep for your faction. That bring an awesone realism deep, real far from vanilla where all castle and city are just the same at some point.

I tried 4 SW mods for SOASE :Rebellion. I will place this one 2nd behind Interegnum, mostly because of the lack of heroes & icons. I like to be able to build some heavy cruiser not as capital ship but that make battle feel like, I have read in other review, big attriation war, with who spawn the most batleships and AI just seem to stack all there ships in the same fleet. So with large fleet option enable in a huge map it ramming heavily even with large adress aware. Anyway to much battleship in a RL battle will lead in colision and positioning problems, without forgeting friendly fire. Some ship ability are insane too and auto-level it maybe to much.
Big positive thing that faction are great, lot of ships choice,in overall I like it the lore are a big plus too. And it free so Great work!
