Hamachi is the ideal way to start a server, if you don't have/know how to use Hamachi: here is a rough tutorial. Pokegen.freeforums.org Also there is a pretty dedicated forum for setting up and arranging matches via Hamachi: Pokegen.freeforums.org

Press Backspace, aim your Pokéball, and enjoy your new Pokémon. Also TAB is how you toss the Pokémon out after you catch it.

In hope that the developer will take their suggestion into consideration.

It's just suggestions man, don't let it get under your skin. Let the people dream. Though you're right, the highest priority right now is Nidoran♂, GUI, and the evolution system.

Not everyday, only when I see a message like the one below.

How to catch Pokémon: Press backspace and throw a Pokéball onto any Pokémon.

How to switch your Pokémon: Look at the lower right corner where your Pokémon are, if you click on the one you want to use and exchange that with the first slot, he will be your main Pokémon.

How to fight other Pokémon: Simply press TAB and your Pokémon will come out, then click on any other Pokémon and start fighting using the 1234 skills.

Pokémon Combat Alternate Camera : Press Q to have free movement when battling and press Q again to use the lock on feature.

If you want to reset everything press "disconnect" on the top left corner of the screen, then click the reset button in the main menu. When you return to the game, you will have no Pokémon. (This is useful because a deposit box hasn't been added yet.)

One interesting note: You can also pick multiple fights with Pokémon by clicking on to more then 1 Pokémon during a battle, you can actually get them to attack each other and watch them brawl it out!

I actually enjoy the hitbox, it gives you the "got to make every ball count" feeling. Instead of the game just handing you the capture on a silver platter. Though I can see where you're coming from, and I agree for the most part. It can get rather annoying.

Instant catch will probably cease once they're done testing Pokémon and most of the story is completed. Of course, this is just a theory. Once the full game is released normal Pokéballs will no longer be an instant catch, the instant catch is primarily for testing.

If you read the summary it says "a story bridging the gap between RBY & GSC." Come on now, it's literally in the first sentence.

Xatoku Productions is making the game, a team of four. Also some of the community is helping the project come along as well, with 3D Pokemon submissions.

It does get somewhat repetitive seeing the exact same comment over and over again. It's like we need a label or something in big bold letters saying "BACKSPACE TO CAPTURE POKEMON!" Though, at least the community isn't shy and is very helpful when it comes to this matter. I really do love this community.

Xatoku doesn't want a facebook page because it brings unwanted attention. The creator of zed page was acting as if he was the one that is creating the game. Long story short, Xatoku insisted that the page be removed or no updates. After the page got exposed as a fraud, Xatoku basically said "We made our point, updates will continue as planned." The pages' name is of course Pokémon Generations, the link is irrelevant. They still have yet to delete the page though.

Just encase anyone is wondering, the facebook issue has been resolved (well, mostly.) Remember that BACKSPACE is catch, and the updates are located in the forums here: Pokegen.freeforums.org Also if you haven't already I highly recommend you become a part of the forum and share your thoughts.
