I think I'm much closer to finishing the game in UDK than starting almost from scratch in UE5.
Moving a game to UE5 is not automatic, all the programming has to be redone, and the current assets have to be improved, with more geometry, more detail, better textures and better materials... if you want to see any difference with the current assets.
Too much work for one person. If the UDK version is a insane amount of work, with the UE5 version it would take 300 years... I wouldn't get into UE5 without first having funding and a confiable team, and probably, more time to dedicate to the game, and not only my free time, about 3 - 5 hours per day.
