Hi! I'm a 12 year old boy who just loves this site! Unfortunately my internet connection is very slow so I can't download huge files even though I really want them. My favourite games at the moment are all of the LEGO games and I was wondering whether or not there were mods/modding tools out there for them. Recent & Upcoming Game Releases: 2nd Edition

Hi! This is the second edition of my new monthly blog, New Game Releases. This edition (4th October), is all about action games from a few years back, so here are the three that I will review this month: Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Fallout. 3, and Flatout 2.

Action games were the first games to ever be born. They were the reason gaming is such a big industry today. Most games fit into the action category including none other than Half Life, Counter Strike, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress, Portal, and even Space Invaders!!!

1. Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

I hope to get my hands on the sequel to this game, as it is surely one of the most successful games in the world. It is the 2007 Game Of The Year for it's massive multiplayer segment. It's singleplayer campaign has got some great cinematic scenes that put you in the shoes of two soldiers, Sgt Paul Jackson from the Marine Forces Recon, and Pvt Soap McTavish from the S.A.S. All in all, at about $60 now, it is an extremely brilliant game, and well executed too. Overall, 9.5/10.

2. Fallout. 3

I believe that the Fallout. series is one of the best offline RPGs out there, with the latest and greatest edition, Fallout. 3. This has been well acclaimed by critics, and has a deep and thorough storyline make it an extremely enjoyable game. With five addon packs available as yet, this game will surely survive the ages. Overall, 8/10.

3. Flatout 2

This game is a bit different to the others I am reviewing this month. It is a racing game. And an awesome one at that! It includes Derby, Race, and Street, and also the very unique Stunt category. In Stunt, you drive your car and launch the driver out at a target, depending on the game. It involves, Basketball, Soccer, Darts, Skiing, Baseball and more. It is a very good game, although they could have done a much better job on the handling. Overall, 7.5/10.

Next time, I will be reviewing some of the best twist-filled FPS games in history. Including Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, and none other than Wolfenstein 2.
