Being an immigrant in Canada, Ciss has spent 13 years of his youth in Korea where his fundamental of musical style were developed and later years in Canada had given him opportunity to adapt new style in his music through his new life in Canada. Living in a multicultural city, Ciss has learned to adapt and experience new cultures without having to abandon his own ethnic background and these valuable experiences has given and challenged him in musical style as well. By accepting and merging in with these cultural differences, Ciss was able to express his thoughts and feelings more freely and widely through music with his unique colour.
