I'm a freelance composer and sound effects designer for video games. I believe in creating highly immersive, evocative audio assets that really deliver on the artistic goals of the project. I think this is one of the things that separate a good game from a great game. I am willing to work very hard to achieve the highest quality results possible. I'm also a life-long gamer and game music lover. Please check out my website at www.chrisapplestudios.com and feel free to get in touch!

Description

This is the first track from the Atlantis Rising soundtrack (a video game that is still in its conceptual stages. ) The scene begins with the Player on the ocean floor. He is trying to find Atlantis but he doesn't know where it is. He sees a crab gathering seaweed on the ocean floor. The Player has been told that crustaceans are some of the many residents of Atlantis, so he figures if he follows the crab he might find the city. Shuffles, the crab, is minding his own business but notices a strange figure starting to follow him. He gathers his seaweed quickly and tries to move a little faster across the ocean floor. When the mysterious figure continues to follow him, he panics and begins to weave around obstacles. Terrified now, he scampers across the ocean floor as fast as his six legs can carry him. He's fast approaching the city where his crab hole is. The strange figure is almost on him, but he's almost home... The figure leaps at him, trying to catch him, but... pop! He disappears down his crab hole before he can be caught. Copyright 2012 Chris Apple Studios, LLC.
