MartyredWolf.... I have no face! Anyway I do stand behind the marvelous Aurora toolset for quest and dialog making. If only you could have variable passing like the Electron engine..... CryEngine is just a bit of overkill and he is working on this mostly by himself - there would be need for animators, 3d-modelers etc etc. Also mind that more graphics can make a game WORSE: add the drawing of a net in the middle of a Pong game and it is a very bad tennis game. The "improvement" would just made the game worse without costly changes in the rest of the game.
I don't know..... He could also be undead.... does undead count as dead or as alive?
He did say "Early" but I agree: "Early" isn't very specific and somewhat undefined. I've waited this far I can wait a few more days. Whenever it's ready.

I have to admit that the update I was expecting was the release of the mod but it's your mod so you will release it when you feel it's ready. I don't supose you want to say a new ETA, right? We'll stick with: Soon.... <zombie drooling while spying a girl on a misty forest>
- I prefer quests and good designed areas to many areas and/or enconters.
- Descriptive would be better but I do realize that finding people to write them is dificult. I'm not one of the few people who can write them sorry. I'd prefer a fade to black than "pixel bumping". The best IMHO is a mix like in Dragon Claw Inn ( Nwvault.ign.com ) but it sounds like hard work. Nothing to delay a module's first version over!
- Usually I prefer skill/coversation to hack and slash. I do like to have the option to "crush some skulls" in the conversation though.
- Would have to play the game to suggest stuff for the sequels. Seems great so far!
- I would prefer custom characters. No problem with some parts of their background being set: ie: Must have human blood or comes from noble family and stuff like that.
- It would be nice to name preset characters I suppose... not a big plus or minus. Custom characters would be better.
Hum, I've read more and understand that in future mods you will have the ability to costumize the character (that won't be Lucia) I guess that for her appearance and name to match if she is to appear there you need to set it :) I'm a fan of tweaking a little on the toolset so if that is the case don't worry about imersion - I'll just hack the next mods for the character to have the same appearance of my last playthough. Don't worry - first time I play is always by the "house rules" and I'll play Lucia first.
I saw an earlier post that said the reaction of NPCs depended on Lucia's CHR, class and skills besides guild status and her clothes. -High CHR meant people saw her as gromed and so forth. I assumed that she was a premade character in the same way that the princess is a premade character in ADWR. (can't really see why you'd want to fix her first name though....)
So... no orcs goblins, dwarves and elfs. I'm fine with that -it's better handled than most games I've played that assume that "mountrous humanoids" should just be killed on sight making humans the monsters IMHO. After all they are creatures that can be have language and understanding and can be reasoned with.
With so many faction question I forgot about another question that this "purger" faction brought up in my mind. Are there other humanoid species on the world. Or sentient in general even if not humanoid? What is their relationship with humans and vice versa if they exist? Sorry, really curious about the mod :)
So a vampire hunter or knight can become a vampire (failing progression on that quest line)? Makes sense that they have no imunity to the disease - likelly a lot of vampires where made from people who seek them out - even if it is to kill them. If the knight can sense undead the vampires will have a lot of problems ambushing them however. Can a knight become a prostitute? And does that carry consequences like mentioned in my previous post?
I'd like to add my opinion on that. I can imagine there are reasons for a prostitute to what to become a knight - they accepting her might be another issue. If the quest for a knight to fall into prostitution is made Lucia would have very high demand - doing it with a knight would be the dream of every peasant. It would be dangerous for her though - criminals could want some revenge or soemthing kinky - and maybe even the knights themselfs - let's hope Lucia didn't make enemies during training.
Ok, thank you for setting my fears to rest. And at the same time giving me something to play in the meantime!
I have registered on modDB only for this mod - it appear to be great looking at the concept and screenshots. Is the estimated release date of somewhere this month still holding? Also I have noted that you also made "the forts"...... I need to put my fear at rest.... it as nothing to do with your earlier work does it? Don't get me wrong - I think every free contribution to the game should be welcome but if it is anything like the forts I will not likely play it. Just want to know if I really should be looking forward to this mod or not.
