Already wrote this once (but clicked cancel).
The end goal of both mods differs, A&K is making it Portal 2 themed, RS is (as stated above) a blend of the two styles, updating portal assets and using portal 2 assets where relevant.
I've joined a few modding teams this year to no avail, both fizzled out in about two months, I know A&K is a long standing mod, but I'm not ready to commit to something on that scale.
Somebody's gotta do it, only trouble is that there's more work to do than expected, and that's why a lot of these projects fall flat.
To be truthful, I wasn't aware of this.
However the mod doesn't only try to do that, it's a bit more nuanced and hard to explain.
This sounds absolutely amazing, can't wait to hear more about this engine! Will it have portal physics more similar to Portal or Portal 2 (camera rotation and portal standing)?
