the models are a big improvement over the stock game. the mod is robust mostly bug free and look good. i recommend this mod with the FF7 music installer for a truly upgraded game. also the replaced intro movie was a nice touch as it was alot better than the original.
with the added fact that squaresoft released their 2012 release with the still poor audio and didn't replace the models. all they did was fix the bugs and added compatibility support to the game with a micro pay cheat feature.
