So does "Silver Symbiosis" interest you?

We are in dire need of a programmer.

If you haven't read up on the game yet, it is a single-player RPG.

Main objective: To seal Satan back in Hell where he belongs!
Primary weapons: Psion-Sword, Psion-Shield, and Psion-Tether
Secondary weapons: Whatever ranged weaponry you can acquire

Basically you play as a teenager, either Evan or his twin sister Aina. The one you choose encounters a symbiote that bonds with them and grants them a plethora of abilities. The Psionics are the most obvious aspect of this. The other ability is that of fusing temporarily with other creatures and permanentally gaining powers from that fusion. You must battle the evil that comes through some of the rifts, befriend the good that comes through others, and NOT get the two mixed up! Mixing them up gets the good killed and/or you killed.

You also gain the ability to fuse up to 3 of the Fusion abilities together to create new abilities, the only requirement is that the powers being combined came from different creatures.
The rifts that are opening are connecting Earth to various other realities, including Heaven and Hell. Heaven has sent an Angel through to help you defeat the demons being sent from Hell. The final boss is Satan himself who comes in the form he had before being banished from Heaven, and is under the glow of false glory. Don't be fooled!

Oh yeah, the Angel only helps you directly in one boss battle and even that is conditional on you detroying the Demonic Seals which keep him out of that dungeon, after that(provided you destroyed the Seals) he grants you an ability which alows you to deal double damage to demons.

The only actual companion character is the Rock Goblin Champion, AFTER you defeat him. Attacking any of his people(after he joins you) permanently loses you his help.

"Ever check out Mabinogi.nexon.net ?"

As a matter of fact, yes I did. I was immediately put off by the gameplay. No offense, but that kind of MMORPGs are not my thing.

I guess I like to keep it simple, but not so much. Since Lineage II, most Korean MMOs equaled GRIND GRIND GRIND to me. I couldn't fit my mindset to Mabinogi either, it just was too... atypical for me, I think. Runescape's combat system may have been dull and uninteresting (although I heard it got a total overhaul this week), but at least I had a fair bit to do other than combat - I guess that's why I stuck to it for so long: the variety. That and it's non-class-based gameplay. It's a pity that game had went down the **** drain so quickly (from what I've heard).

In a nutshell... I'm not sure anymore. I haven't stuck to any other MMORPGs for a long enough time, so I guess those games aren't my thing anymore.

Just out of curiousity, would this game interest you? My current project i a single player but I've been told it would make a great MMO by a lot of people. This is my idea for an MMORPG sequel to it:

<h1>Possible <b>MMORPG</b> sequel to <b><u><i>“Silver Symbiosis”</i></u></b>;</h1>
<ol>Possible titles;
<li><b><u><i> “Silver Symbiosis 2: Silver Brigade”</i></u></b> (Has 0 vote(s) so far) </li>
<li><b><u><i> “Silver Symbiosis: Silver Brigade”</i></u></b> (Has 0 vote(s) so far) </li>
<li><b><u><i> “Silver Symbiosis 2: Metal Mania”</i></u></b> (Has 0 vote(s) so far) </li>
<li><b><u><i> “Silver Symbiosis: Metal Mania”</i></u></b> (Has 0 vote(s) so far) </li>
<li><b><u><i> “Silver Symbiosis 2: Metal Menace”</i></u></b> (Has 0 vote(s) so far) </li>
<li><b><u><i> “Silver Symbiosis: Metal Menace”</i></u></b> (Has 0 vote(s) so far) </li>
<li><b><u><i> “Silver Symbiosis: Golden Evolution”</i></u></b> (Has 2 vote(s) so far) </li>
<li>…</li></ol>
Right after the end of <b><u><i>“Silver Symbiosis”</i></u></b>, someone gets a sample of the symbiote’s DNA after all skill’s have been acquired. Symbiote was then cloned from the sample, however the skills have become dormant during the cloning process and can only be unlocked through leveling up.
The portals are still open so many creatures are coming through, some good, some evil. The player picks both gender and species from among the “friendly” races and is given a symbiote clone.

Bad guys have also gotten a sample of symbiote DNA, but rather than straight up cloning they are experimenting with genetic engineering and have corrupted it, creating monsters that make the creatures coming through the portals seem harmless by comparison. This corruption of the DNA has twisted the dormant abilities into completely new abilities. For example, the “Water” element abilities have morphed into “Ice” element abilities.

As the symbiote was supposed to be totally unique in any/all realities, they share a connection with the bioengineered monster-clones and can absorb these new abilities from them after defeating them in battle. Only one new ability can be gained per battle however and this new ability has to come from among the ones that have already been awakened but not yet acquired by the player. Exactly which ability is selected randomly from among those remaining from among the awakened ones. Acquisition of these new abilities changes the symbiote, along with the host’s hair and eye color, from silver to gold.(Lacking hair, the Drakkon race’s scales change color instead)
Some of the demons were trapped, physically incarnate, in this world when the portal to Hell was closed at the end of <b><u><i>“Silver Symbiosis” </i></u></b> and are thereby still around to be among the bosses in this sequel. Also among the bosses are both “normal” and symbiote-enhanced versions of some of the bosses from the first game. Examples: <b><u><i>Golden Drail</i></u></b> and <b><u><i>“Golden Talon of the Death-God”(Drakkon assassin, one of six high-priests/enforcers of the terror-inspiring Death-God cult. “Talons” are only outranked within the cult by the leader, known as the “Voice of the Death-God”)</i></u></b>.

Sorry about all the HTML tags, I wasn't paying attention when I posted it. Mainly it was just to establish an ordered list. :p
