I've been playing at TESS:V for several months now. My copy is always jammed with mods for everything from creatures to clothing and hair/skin appearance. But even without the alterations, I was mesmerized by Skyrim. A tru 'diamond in the rough' among the host of virtual and RPS-style wargames I had played over the years. It just 'felt' different. I am an...elder gamer. Not new to rpg's or the virtual-style game. I played Doom when it first came out. And yet I found myself distracted by the wild beauty of this digitized place called Skyrim. The potential of the open-world RPG, when implemented with a good game engine, is staggering. Visit Skyrim, the world of Tamriel, and know another world. Listen to the wind in the trees and ready your sword-hand.
