Casual 3D modeling hobbyist. Avid Truespace Anim8or 3D fan. I've been modeling for several years now and love creating content in three dimentional form especially with simple aircraft designs. I also maintain a modeling tutorial forum as well.

Anim8or 3D, is yet another easy to use modeling software that looks pretty useful for average model making hobbyist, and supports a very cool scripting language for writing plugin addons and model exporters in plain ASCII text. There's a script editor, but one can use a Notepad editor to write scripts as well. The script editor has a syntax checker to check for errors in user written scripts. I really like this software and have with the help of another A8 user made an ASL based Softimage version 1 XSI exporter as well as modified an existing X exporter script. Visit Anim8or.com modeling forum for more information. The software is free and quite small in file size. ASL scripts are tiny files as well.

I mod for a video game called Battlezone II Combat Commander. I use Caligari Truespace modeling software and it's X exporter to create models and props for the game. BZII, is pretty much a dinosaur by today's gaming standards, but it's very moddable and I enjoy creating new 3D models for it. Most people like using 3D MAX software, but if you ask me it's way too much software for a old game like BZII,
