With Reborn, SCP:CB:UE is just about a straight-upgrade to the vanilla experience. That being said, work is still in development. Not a fan of how incredibly dark the game has become now, it strains my eyes.
This is probably my top stalker experience. Not for total newcomers, but after playing MISERY and all of its derivatives, as well as other CoC and gameplay variants, I feel this is the most fun option you could choose. Balanced, high performance, constantly maintained and beautiful, after my thousands of hours in the series, this is probably my favorite way to experience the Zone.
I have sank over 2000 hours into this game of a mod. It has an active community with helpful members that I come to every day for entertainment. It brings a wonderful FPS experience to modern standards, upgrading the engine, etc. Highly recommended.
