So the game that I was working on has decided to rename the project to Blades of Ascension.

We as team suggested multiple potential new names for the project. We then voted on them, and we then came to our decision. Blades of Ascension was my suggestion by the way.

New Wireless Motion Tracking Coming Soon to Kickstarter!

Sixense, the company that made the Razer Hydra, is going to be putting their new wireless upgraded version of the Razer Hydra on Kickstarter on September 12! It will have backwards compatibility with Razer Hydra enabled games. Not only that, it will also come with positional trackers for the player's legs.

It should be noted that the product that will be on Kickstarter will be dev kits - not the consumer version.

I Joined a Game Project!

For those that have read my summary, you know that I am picky about which games that I will help develop. Well I have found a game project that fits my requirements. It will be an MMO based on the Sword Art Online anime. The game's indiedb page is here.

For those that have searched indiedb for related projects may have noticed that there are a total of three (3) Sword Art Online projects on indiedb. I chose the project that I am on over the others because the owner/leader of the project shares similar ideas and goals for the project that I do.

I am looking forward to integrating the Oculus Rift and other emerging technologies into the game to make the player experience a true virtual reality experience based on the hit anime.
