Hello, can I ask what happened to Stargate Space Conflict: Milky Way?
Sadly Phoenix Interactive received a Cease and Desist from MGM's lawyers regarding the classic and remastered mods, plus the WIP standalone game being made by others in the organisation (aswell as another high profile stargate game "Stargate Network" being made by a completely different unrelated group of people). Likely to protect the IP of Stargate due to the amazon purchase and/or the new official game, "Stargate Timekeepers".
The reason why other mods weren't affected is probably because they took most issue with the WIP standalone game (which would of been free but it wasn't officially licensed to use Stargate content). However the trailers for the Stargate mod got 250k+ views on YouTube
which could of been what put us on their radar.
Once the C&D is served saying "you are infringing rights" they can't really u-turn or compromise much on that without it affecting MGM's claim on the Stargate's rights, so that was the end of that :(
