Now is this fact like have they said this? or is it theory? Because it would explain alot but i dont want to get my hopes up :P

I was wondering, that when or if the helicopter was hit or shot down would it blow up like any other vehicle or would it spin and crash? now i know its probably really hard to have it do that but i was just wondering.
