No. They aren't. They are two vastly different regiments, just because they have gasmasks doesn't make them anywhere near the same. It's like saying The Kanak Skull Takers are the same as the Catachans, that the Elysians are the same as the Fellesian Airborne because they both have Grav Chutes. The battle doctrine between the Legion and the Death Korps are so vastly different it's not comparable - Siege Warfare/Attrition opposed to Mechanized Assault.

The idea isn't to last long. It's to be mass produced on such a scale it will outstrip it's destruction rate. That way, the Krieg Generals who employ it will still have a reasonable number to throw at the enemy time and time again.

Pocket sized. Easier for army tansportation, of course.

I concur with your statement. That would be most pleasing. Still, in the meantime, we can play around with Shumas excellent Death Korps of Krieg pack until relic release their "Chapter pack" for the Imperial Guard, also adding in my beloved Korps.

As much as this is just a lowly trooper, just a Guardsman, it's still rather inspirational. Not the most well equipped of all soldiers to reside in the 40k universe, but some, if not most, fight with zeal equal to that of their super human counter parts. The emotion of such a picture is powerful, just a man with a Lasgun, charging into what is probably certain death... Then again, if he didn't, a Commissar would shoot him, but still.

That is not a bad little army you'll have yourself there. Don't forget to take pictures of your apocalypse game if you have one (As well as tell use the outcome ofcourse.)

How many points do you estimate?

I like the style of camouflage (Even if it is a common design.) Unfortunately, due to the overall quality of the picture and my reasonably poor eye sight, I can not see the details that well, so can not comment on it. Overall, not bad, from what I see I would rate it 7/10. Also, 'Leman Russ'.

There is no in 'N' in the name of this Super Heavy Tank. Also, they are so worth the points.

That is based on the very loose off chance an enemy does manage to take that position ofcourse. There are very few enemies of the Imperium that could totally break the sheer determination of the Korps, besides, I don't think it would really matter to the Kriegers even if they did have to build new trenches, it's there way of life, more than likely they can construct an entire fortified area in the time it would take most other regiments to do even a part of it. (And on the subject of dieing, they have a debt to the Emperor, one they are all too happy to pay.) However, besides the lil nerd rant there, I agree and say lol. Now, i'm off for some tea and scones I think, then i'll continue digging my trench. Good day sir!
