Dark Rises is a contemporary fantasy RPG, where you can protect humanity, join the dark forces or obtain the power of heaven.

Dark Rises is about a normal world, with normal people, that suddenly discover that nothing is as normal as they thought and most of the things they thought, like legends or myths, it was terribly and deadly true. As you start rediscovering your world, and trying to protect it, you discover that this knowledge gives you power, and also the real problem is that there is something deeper hiding in the dark.

Dark Rises has a complex and dim story, that is full of creatures, conflicts, epic battles, all surrounded with great depth. Much more than a game, it is a story and you will be part of it, because it allows you to interfere in the story line through the game events that are going to be released periodically. The Dark Rises Game is based in the eternal war between angels and demons, but most likely in the typical duality between good and evil. Story is centered in the consequences and adversities that the human race has to face to maintain themselves alive in their world and protect it at any cost necessary, even if it includes for some humans to join the ones that wants to destroy the world to obtain enough power. It’s a complex story where all the human aspects are reflected under the adversity and the horror, where they will be witness of an unending drama of betrayal, pacts and conquests with the purpose of fulfilling the objectives of each race.The particular atmosphere we gave to the story and the game have several sources of inspiration, especially from role games like Vampire Masquerade, Werewolf, Paranoia and D&D, many RPG and MMORPG games, anime, movies and a lot of books based in the world of darkness and fantasy. In spite of the diversity of ideas and tendencies we have strived to give our own distinctive stamp. We express that in the game through the art, the creatures, the scenes in the story, but most of all in the gameplay.

Fundamental and important parts of the game are the Events in which you will participate with the rest of the players in an addition game defending and giving power to your race. Once in a while an event will be released, after some of the “isolated” stories, in which a part of the general story will be revealed. Each and every one of the detonated events will allow three possible story lines and once the event is over and one of the races has overcome and won above all others, continuity of the wining story will be launched, next to the associated prizes of having achieved certain event.
