You should keep in mind that Jay released SOTS Maul, and a year later the demo of XZMOD, just as he promised. Then he was unable to hit the release date in December, but he apologized (when Tim did that?), and surprised us with the alpha of SystemA. And he clearly stated that he will pause the work on XZmod for a while now, and he will continue it later. So let's count: he released SOTS DM, paused a bit, then he released XZmod Yoda, then he was unable to release the full mod, but he compensated us with the alpha of SystemA. Tim, on the other hand: more than 30 release date promises, 1 demo, several video, no Kotf. Now Jay wasn't able to hit 1 out of 3 (good ratio), but he compensated us with the angle system. So I still don't get why you compare him with Tim.
As for MovieBattles 2, it's a pretty good MP mod, but there are a lot of people (like me) who prefer to play games in SP, not in MP, and that's why we're looking forward to this.

And why do you think he's Tim?
1. Jay actually gave us a great demo.
2. Read Jay's comment. The mod isn't dead, it's just paused because of real life issues, and that is more important than anything else.
3. If he would be Tim, he would gave us lots of release dates and false promises. Well, as far as I know, Jay hit all release dates except the last one.
