Report RSS Porting CS 1.6 maps into Nazi Zombies Portable?

Posted by on

I've done some experiments, i could port most of the geometry of Dust 2 into Nazi Zombies portable.
What's facked up?
-lack of lighting
-lack of textures
-some parts of the map simply did not render
-it lags like hell

Still, worth looking at it. Maybe it can be done as a map pack for the game. Well, let's just get this thing working first.

Example of a badly rendered door.

Badly rendered wall leading to B.

I 've put a zombie spawn and a mystery box into the map for the ones who like to try it out.
Installation: Put de_dust2.bsp into nzp/maps.
For me it looks like this: C\:Program Files/NZP/nzp/maps/de_dust2.bsp

lol man :D dust, funny thing, it's VERY easy to port any hl1 engine map, you don't even need to port, map woudl already work with all the lighting and bsp would work too, also hl1 wad file also works on nzp.

Looks like i used another technique then...

But with this you can actually edit the map. Zombies, spawns, perks, items, solids, anthing. I dunno, i thought i invented something big :)

But still if i figure out how to do it correctly, i can release something based on this idea.
