Thanks for your suggestion. I think I considered this option, but I believe an original installation of the game will have the savefiles in the user's "Documents" folder, not the installation folder (which is standard practice I imagine), and the fsgame.ltx will contain that path on the first line, something like: "$app_data_root$ = true| false| C:\Users\username\DOCUME~1\STALKE~1" (where username is your windows user). If I included the "$game_data$ = true| true|" line and the fsgame.ltx file, I would have to explain, that installing this mod will start a new save and how to move the save files in the game's installation folder. Either way some manual change has to be done by the mod's user and I felt this is safer, since noobs will not complain about their lost progress. Also more educational, as they will at least peak a config file and who knows, maybe get them interested in modding or something.
