I would love to have a beta key for this. I voted for it on greenlight regardless. It looks very promising.

The .tar.gz file I downloaded from Desura extracted to the current directory. The expected behavior for .tar.gz files is for them to extract to a subdirectory. E.g. foo.tar.gz will extract to foo/... when extracted with "tar xvf foo.tar.gz" and foobar.tar.gz will extract to foobar/... .tar.gz files that "explode" their contents into the current directory are called tarbombs.
The game is still very fun.
Please. When packaging the .tar.gz for Linux don't create a tarbomb: Linfo.org
