It actually has a function. Once Gristmill puts the radiation into the Endurium, it is designed to use Solar panels to capture the radiation and convert it to energy. The core has over 1000 Endurium blocks in it and will be surrounded with aprox 1000 solar panels to capture the radiation from the core. The power will then be routed to our main colony via the new power grid system.

Lump, Bushkills, and I play Xenominer on the Xbox360 relentlessly as well as the PC version. The 360 version has a multiplayer beta and allows us to build as a group (the PC Multiplayer is in development) We are part of the Leviathan Project on the 360 that has been pushing the game to new levels. If anyone wishes to join us on there please feel free to message any of us on Xbox Live(our names are the same as they are on here). We all love the game and enjoy showing what this game is truly capable of and are willing to help anyone who asks.

A unique thing with this game is that its not only a mob that can kill you, the environment you play in can kill you. Little to no atmosphere means that lack of oxygen or too much radiation are the two biggest enemies in this game. One of the best features besides the programmable bot, is the much deeper crafting system in the game. It requires you to think several steps ahead of a planned build to ensure you have everything to need to make the item. You have to in some cases, fabricate multiple materials to make components to make an item. Strategy comes into play in many ways.

They have a very ambitious plan ahead for the game. New technology, new mobs, new biomes and the list is growing. Gristmill has a very devoted following and are one of the few developers that I am aware of that has really reached out to and regularly interacts with its players regarding new ideas. I think there is a very bright future for Xenominer and Gristmill
