Hallo! Incase you are wondering why i am not posting this on the MLP: CAM page. This doesn't have much to do with that, not anything, to be honest! Anyway..
In my personal opinion, i think game developers should do what VALVe does, allow, WELCOME even, modders! I mean, just look at Team Fortress, or Counter-Strike. What was originally a mod, is now a full-fledged steam game with a large community! Imagine what would be made if 343i or Activision or any other third or first party developers allowed the community to mod games. Plus, profit for the companies because if the mod is good, the viewers (Like you) might want to buy the game! (I actually did this once, i bought Fallout 3 and most Besethda games because of the large modding community!) Imagine, if you will. A world where the only products are those made by large companies. And smaller companies can't make anything because every company has a monopoly on everything else.. Just look at Robin Walker, or any of the Team Fortress (For Quake) team. And look at where they are now.. He's working at Valve! Anyway, i'm working on CAM, don't worry.. And no, i am not going to give up!
