Thanks for the link, we have checked out the game.
Alt Space will allow for complete control of the flight path where as Critical Mass appears to only allow for a turning arc and thrust adjustments.
Alt Space will include the ability to move your ships shields from one side to the other so being able to plan how your ship faces the enemy is really important.
In the next few weeks we will be releasing a more complete video of movement.
This will include the radius being decreased as the MU’s are consumed through spiraling or zigzagging maneuvers.
Thus preventing the POC’s unlimited spirals.
The current design will allow you to place weapons that are part of the game on specific hard points on the various components.
One engine component could have four missile hard points versus another engine component with two missile hard points and two laser hard points.
You would be able add your own selection of missiles from the in game selection, assuming you have leveled up your ships missile tree.
We are looking at how best to make Alt Space mod friendly so that the community can include their own ship components and possibly weapons in the future.
