I really don't know, but I agree that it is pretty annoying to constantly see models changing their level of detail in front of your eyes... but we should also remember that this game is 17 years old lol

Thanks! Other than maybe add some more surnames and tweak a bit rank mechanics I really don't know what could I do next to improve this mod; I tried to change fixed names (like Sgt. Pavlov) without success, but if I manage to do that I will certainly update the mod. I'd also like to make a mod of this type for CoD:UO but I'm pretty busy right now.

I think that this addon should work just fine for CoD:UO too but I haven't really tried it yet. Anyhow I'm gonna make a United Offensive version too of this addon in the not-so-distant future.

Since the code is very similar, I think that I could do it for CoD1 without any problem; WaW on the other hand is a bit different, so for now I can't tell you much about that.

Yeah, giving a name to an NPC humanizes it and it feels way more immersive to look at brand new surnames every time you play... although making the mod itself takes some of the magic away (but I love to do it nonetheless). Anyhow, thank you for your support and if you could also leave a rating I would appreciate it a lot!

I actually stopped working on it some time ago, but the file is still there and it is almost complete, so I'm gonna end the work and publish it asap. I think that it might take more or less a week for me to finish.

This mod is compatible with B2F, I downloaded the latter to try that and it works; you just have to put the *.iwd files of the B2F mod and the "zzamer_names_mod.iwd" file into the "Call of Duty 2/main" folder. I hope it helps!
