After years of intrigue about 3D modelling, past Saturday I finally installed Blender and gave it a try, having guidance by some nice tutorials on YouTube.
So, after some succesful tests, I decided to go ahead and make my own creation. It's not a big deal, but I like the final result. And I also had the opportunity to experiment with non-guided modelling, texturing, lighting, shading and even generate a texture for the marble (which is achieved through shader nodes and a noise generator).
Perhaps this could be a start for something else.
