The Balalaika is the only real and recorded instrument in this particular piece.
I hear what you're saying, but getting a real choir together that can sing in russian and recording them is not exactly cheap or easy. Mimicking the russian language at that speed in a software instrument would have made it sound even worse so I did the best I could with what I had. There are some actual russian lyrics in other parts of the OST, but again, I did the best with what I had.
It's not ideal, but I don't think it's overly or unreasonably unrealistic.
