To all you who get the black screen, and then dies.. I know the problem :P You have to patch BF 2 first.
First you need this: filefront.com/6194285/Battlefield-2-v1.41-Patch/ it may take a while to patch, and then as soon as the 1.41 patch is done you have to use this patch: filefront.com/6194285/Battlefield-2-v1.41-Patch/
the last patch will come with a File front download manager, so choose where you want the patch.exe and then start it, it will start to install it. Then, re-install Battlefield pirates 2 (if you got it installed aleady) or download and install, enjoy! hope it helps some of you :) if you got more questions, inbox me!
