A Jolly Corpse is a group of ghoulish undead creatures who crawled their way back from the hellish underworld to restore their control over the farest reaches of the lands. Actually we just make games for PC, Xbox, and mobile. But they're awesome!
Sorry you're still having problems! We're working on fixes for a few connection bugs. Have you been able to get into the lobby at all? Never? If you have any other network devices running, they may be causing connection issues. We'll be fixing that, but for now we're putting suggestions for temporary solutions here: Jollycorpse.com
Hi Nemui! We solved this on Facebook, right? "thanks for the response! it was on the most recent version. but apparently having different networks (like hamachi, in my case) can mess up the online mode. once i deactivated the other network, it worked for me."
That is very strange... Everything I see in Desura says it should be there! Tell you what, for now I'm going to message you a link to it. You should be able to just drop it in that folder. And hopefully everything will be fixed in our next update! :)
Thanks for the compliments! You should have three executables: Wyv and Keep.exe, Settings.exe, and Wyv's Cartographer.exe. The cartographer's icon is a little map with a compass.
If you don't appear to have it, can you let us know how you're playing? Are you on Desura? Do you have Settings.exe?
We've wanted it on Linux for a long time, but have had trouble porting. We promise we'll get it on there eventually, and you certainly won't have to pay for it again. :)
Thank you! Saw your message on Twitter. We'll work on this ;)
Thanks so much for the info! We've had lots of problems with getting the online play working well, but it's important to us and we're working hard at it. We hope to get the stability much better, the lobby more functional, and yes, in-game chat as well :)
So sorry about this, it seems Windows Media Player is required for XNA games to play music. We understand if you don't want to install this. We're trying to port the game over to Monogame so we can get rid of all the dependencies.
Yep, we've wanted it on Linux for a long time, but have had trouble porting. It's hard to say when we'll get it done for you, but we won't forget about it!
That's a great point! We definitely should have that and I'll put it on the to-do list :)
You're so welcome! Thanks for giving our games a chance :)
So happy to hear! Did you conquer the volcano? The full game will be available very soon :D
Yes, this was a quick project meant to be available to everyone for very cheap. If it's popular enough, we'd love to spend more time on a proper a sequel with all those things! :)
You're totally right! Because of the low price a free demo kind of slipped our minds... ^_^;;
We'll try to get one out right away!
I wish you luck completing every level, that is gonna take some serious skill and patience. The later stages are Not Easy :)
I thought that "worldwide price" meant it would set that for all regions, not just regious outside US-AU-EU-GB. I'm glad you're enjoying it, and you're totally welcome to your free copy, early bird and all that :)
All the codes have been claimed! Thanks all, and enjoy the game!
Those of you who were late, watch for us to win Dream Build Play and become very generous in the coming weeks! ;)
Thank you! :)
Thank you, and enjoy the game! :D
Great! Happy it's working, hope you enjoy :D
It doesn't save at all? :O
Saving is all automated, if you complete a level and then quit you should start at the next level next time you play! If it's not doing this, shoot us a private message and we'll try to figure out what's wrong :X
Noticed we forgot to mention Linux and Mac! Yes they're still coming, no we don't have any more information than that. We'll finish the game (soon!) and then port to both. So hopefully not more than a couple more months! :3
Have fun! :D
Just noticed a review postulating that Wyv and Keep is abandoned! :O
On the contrary, we're finishing up the end, which is super secret, and working on Mac/Linux ports, so there's simply been little to show! But we're still committed to the Summer 2012 release date! Whether that means this month, July, or August, we're still not certain, but watch for more news soon! :)
For more up-to-the-minute news, follow @WyvAndKeep on Twitter!
Check the "Mysterious Shop" underneath level 4-5!
Sorry about that! We're slowly working out the bugs but there's still a few (a lot) floating around... Try disabling the music with settings.exe and see if it works. If it does, you need to update/install Windows Media Player. If you don't want to do that (and believe me, we'd understand) you'll have to play without the music for now... but we hope to have the problem fixed soon! If it still crashes, try posting in our forums at Jollycorpse.com
(we love zombies but we're a bit worn out on 'em too...)
Haha I assure you we have no contempt for you! ^^;;
Actually David's working on the Linux build now! He's almost got it to... not crash on start-up! :D
There aren't alternate outfits, but there are purchasable hats! Wyv and Keep can wear hats in both local and online play, so you can save up some coin and then show off online! There are currently 20 hats in the game, but we have many more planned.
