ABOUT YOUR QUESTION ON THE CIVIL WAR MOD:
you obviously haven't played battlegrounds (well at least you haven't played the second one because i don't know anything about the first one). in battlegrounds (btw it is a revolutionary war game) , everyone has muskets or primitive rifles that take about 10 seconds to reload. plus the musket balls tend to "fall" because of gravity. so having the highground is always an advantage (even if it isn't that high). so whenever you do hit someone, there is so much joy in it. but mostly ppl are thrusting each other with bayonets and slashing each other with swords. you can even man cannons which act like grenades on impact. at first it can be intimidating and it is hard to grasp the gameplay. but once you have it down, it is so addicting. hopefully this civil war game will have a simiilar affect.
BTW battlegrounds 2 is a half-life2 mod that i would suggest downloading right now.
