A WIP re-texture of the Day of Defeat: Source Allied skin, to replicate the 82nd Airborne's 505 Parachute Infantry Regiment. The 505th PIR recieved two Presidential Unit Citations, for their participation in the Ste. Mere-Eglise area and in Operation Market Garden.
The 505th PIR is now the "505th Infantry Regiment", and still serves in post WWII operations, such as Operation Desert Storm, Operation Just Cause, and most recently, Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The above texture is VERY WIP, and the only thing that's near completion is the helmet, so ignore the patches and the jacket/jumpsuit for the most part.
The unit pictured is the squad NCO, which is, as pictured, the SMG class.
