got that, isPsi is set to false, canColonize true, I narowed it down to me screwing up and moving my whole dang workbench to the mod directory instead of the mod folder, got that fixed now the whole thing freezes when I try to activate the mod instead of creating a mini dump... mulling my muddled brain over it whenever I'm not working or resting for work, and can't use dev mode until at least two paychecks from now >.>

Well the way I have it was modding the TEC race itself first, then pulling the TEC race files back once I have everything set for the DMO... Last night I have gotten most of the DMO files renamed and redirected, still have a long ways to go.

On a side note, it seems like the next Alpha will be up soonish, once I'm able to modify the ctual mechanics for the DMO itself the Betas will begin

I need feedback to make sure I'm getting the mod right... for example:
I make a mod with no shielding, and someone notices one of the ships has a shield that I didn't notice, they tell me and I fix it...
I make a mod where the race is offensively hampered, however, many people notice that it is actually offensively the superpower, Feedback in the form of notes and suggestions would help greatly there.

I cannot do this all on my lonesome, because I made the DMO, I favor it, of course I want it to be a superpower in all ways, but I need to restrain myself from doing so, so I need feedback from everyone interested in this mod, and fellow modders who can easily spot flaws.

aye, I've known that, the polar plating is the main buff for all ships and structures, still working on concepting the physical aspect of the plating's defense.

Once I have a base for the mod (one of Zombie's add-a-race packages for example) for Diplomacy 1.34, i can churn it out in under a day if I focus on it... nobody's hiring me these days, so still have no job and not much else to do :i

eh, would it be a bother to nab the latest release of your add-a-race thing for diploamacy? (especially if it works with 1.34) the latest release I found so far, apparently my computer dont like it cuz all the unzippers I got (7zip, jzip, winzip, windows) cant extract a single byte :i

I know this mod isn't your main focus and all, but I really do hope you progress at some degree on a continuous basis, I know I'll need to with my own mod I'm starting.
