Beta is a freaking troll. My netbook (Post defrag) could easily run alpha 1.2.6 without much lag on small, fast, and framerate limiter on (Though the limiter made no difference.) Now it is 1-2 FPS. I swear, I would revert if I could. I am sad I downloaded Beta.

I like the creeper-face cake, and the black forest cake. The only problem with the black forest cake is the fact that it will be notorious to Portal players, especially if you could cut it ("Somebody cut the cake") or if you could put a torch on it.

I am a tad confused about what server-side inventory will do... Is it for singleplayer?

It wouldn't be Notch's fault though... But I am certain it will win at least one of the special awards if it doesn't win first.

I wish that Notch would add more support for half-blocks, like Redstone, Tracks, Torches, and more. If he does that, (Because the cake will most likely be a re-textured half-block which, of course, drops cake) then you could put a torch on the cake, and now you have your candle. An alternate solution is to put a cake and a torch together on a crafting square.

P.S. Love the placeable cake part!

Love the game. However, I play on a netbook so when I try combat with hostile mobs or SMP, it lags, and I get blown up, shot at, zombified, burned, and much much more, until I set it to peaceful.

TL;DR Don't play on a netbook unless you really like peaceful.

I am glad that the cake is real, but I think that Kiershar will put a PvP TNT trap under it if it really will be placeable... and then post a video about it on Youtube.

P.S. Kizzycocoa, the reason I thought the cake might be a lie is because the last time I was promised cake, I was burned. And shot at. And died in acid. And blown up by missiles. And killed by deadly neurotoxin. So I have a hard time trusting cake. I hope you understand where I am from, and why I don't trust cake.

I think you can use this to make a water tower in which you can't see the water, can't drown, and still swim up it.

Even if I don't have this glitch occur, I am going to make the world around my portal just like this! :D Even though it would cost quite a bit of lightstone...

I think that the zombie pigmen are using the portal as their garbage disposal... They're always up to no good... XD

Remember, the last time we were promised chocolate cake in a game *Cough Portal Cough* it was promised, but never truly delivered.

Very useful, but needs some sort of instruction guide. But it would be useful to have "unused" or "stone" blocks too.
