Just wanted to give a little info about me on here for you guys. My name is Seth, I'm 23 years old, and I love gaming with a passion. I've always wanted to make video games since I was a kid, but I've never had any experience with programming, never taken coding classes or anything. I've found out about YoYo GameMaker when I was around 15 years old, but at the time, learning about it seemed overwhelming and difficult. Ever since my little brother showed me the program just a few years ago, I really wanted to work hard at it and make some games, even if they were very simple or such. I had to look up tutorial videos on youtube or search on google for answers to help make things work, and after doing it for months I learned pretty good so far, and strive to make the projects I have much better. I really love classic 80's/90's games, since I've had the hand-me-down systems since I was around 8, but I enjoy them still today and have 300 NES games. The NES had inspired me at a young age to make video games, but I was afraid that no one would really care for the graphic and gameplay style of the classic ones today. But after seeing people making new NES games, and others making indie 8-bit games online, that had rid of my worries on that for sure! Well, that's pretty much all I have to say for now, but if you have any questions let me know, I'm always down to answer them or even chat and make friends. With all that said, I don't consider myself good at game making, and I'm still new at it, but I'm doing it really for fun, I'm not trying to become rich or famous or anything like that haha. I have been working on a top-down zombie shooter for about 4 months, trying to resemble styles of Gauntlet, Doom, Contra, etc with the Yoyo Game Maker 8.0 Pro Edition. The demo will be released on here. If you have any suggestions for the game, or anything else, please let me know. This will be my first demo game to be released online. I have other projects I've been working on, but this is the one I've spent the most time on. I hope that you will enjoy it, and hopefully it will be finished soon as a full version. Also, I know there are a lot of flaws that can be fixed in the game, so please don't be too harsh critiquing in a review please. Thank you all!
