Coloropus is made in Flash and build as Adobe AIR application for Mac OS X. Windows version uses MDM Zinc 4.0 as wrapper (that provides DirectX full screen modes).
Though we started to make Coloropus when Flash Player didn't support Stage3D (hardware rendering), now FlashPlayer can use GPU to render graphics. This changes the way flash games look and work.
By the way, Linux version of Zinc is very buggy and that was the reason we haven't released Coloropus for Linux yet. Still working on it.
