Description
Waffen SS troops in winter uniforms. Soldier on the left wears white camouflage anorak made of rabbit fur, soldier on right wears Erbsentarn parka and pants.

The image is of high quality and is well done. Most of the history is also correct, but there are a few oddities at first glance. For one, the parkas are reversible, yet one soldier seems to miss the memo that it is snowing outside. Additionally, it is strange that both men are wearing what appear to be dress uniforms under their parkas. There are a few other historical errors, but the artwork is still quite good.
They aren't wearing dress uniforms under their parkas, and if you are used to books like these or Opsrey books, you will know that the drawings aren't supposed to be "one", instead they have the purpose of showing the uniforms, not making it a correct scene. Here it shows two Waffen SS winter uniforms, most likely during the Ardennes Offensive, 1944, showing THE TWO SIDES of the same reversible parka. This is common too in books like these, which are often used as painting guides, so they show how somehting looks in different setups (as you can see they have numbers, they come with detailed descriptions, so thye cant just make the same to show it slightly altered, so they show the camo-ed helmet, the different weapons, etc)
