That can't posibly be correct. I guess the creators of this game weren't really that knowladgable with Warhammer 40k dating.

I'm not saying this is an imposible date I'm saying this date can't be right since the current Warhammer date is like 120,000.M41 so this date can't be right. The events of Fire Warrior aren't that old.
The current 40k date is 999.M41.
Unless the 2002 part is the Tau date rather than the date on the imperial calender, aren't Tau years like Dog years?
The current date of Warhammer 40,000 is 999.M41 when the date changes it would become 001.M42.
