Description
Since no-one has posted anything in a while, and since I know quite a few people don't subscribe to the Forgeworld newsletter, I thought I might as well post this. Apparently it is Forge-world's variant for the Riptide and is set for a physical unveiling at Gamesday.
This is essentially an upscaled version of R'Alai's XV-9, including the guns which are now Pulse Submunition Cannons.
this thing looks absolutely badass..
Nothing short thereof.
I must admit, the Tau make some relatively realistic battlesuits.
It's nice to know they've got something that looks good on their new lineup, compared to that stupid Riptide.
But... this is a Riptide, just with different arms and an armored head.
Which in turn, is a better version of the Riptide, and doesn't exactly need to be seen as a different version of the other thing. I see it as its own.
