Description
so i wanted to know if there is a worst fate then becoming a Servitor? the obvious answers are Death or being posses by demons but are these truly worst? if you die then GG and Demonic possession sucks but even posses people still have some part of them. now im not good at wording stuff but the question still stands. is there a worst fate? and as far as im aware Ismael De Roeven is the only servitor to have "come back"

To answer your side-panel question... If you were actually aware of the fact that you became a servitor then that would probably be the worse thing that could happen to you. However since you pretty much get lobotomized then I'd say that's about equal to death, depending on the particulars of death in the 40k universe. Possession by demons probably isn't really all that bad since most demons tend to keep the host's consciousness active and with the demon imprinting itself on your consciousness you'd probably end up enjoying what the demon was doing through you. I'd say the actual worse thing that could probably happen to a human is living on an unimportant hive world working as basically slave labor that has to go through an entire life of meaningless toil just to end up getting wounded in an accident (instead of killed) and then spending another few life times either as a mindless servitor or having to make do continuing your usual job but this time missing a leg or an arm.
Oh, there's far worse than being turned into a borderline *brain dead* servitor in the 40k universe.
You could be captured by some bored Warp entity, thrown in the Basilica of Torments for their amusement, to then being left there for all eternity because something else caught their attention and forgot about you.
