Did you request a custom lens from GloSpex or did you just buy a stock one and cut it to size yourself? This interests me a lot since I was thinking about using them as well for a costuming project and I was wondering if they would do custom lenses.

Looks awesome by the way. :D

No, it was just a stuck one ;) cut to size with scissors. The lenses are just plastic :) the "circle" you see inside are just an old tape roll

Hey Gen, when this is all done and over with, you should make an estimate of how much it costs for the peeps who are interested in making their own cosplay.

Sure, but it is kinda expensive. You have to find the right and cheap stuff. And some trail and error

Almost finished. Those metal rods you see bend over my head will be painted brown/black-ish to match my hair color.

For the glowing eyes. I use gloSpex (http://www.goglospex.com/)
GloSpex glasses emit colored light from the exterior lens surface. The wearer can see through the lens without seeing the light
