Small update on the chestpiece.
It needs a lot more detail and dirt ;) but you get the idea
Make sure the armor will look metallic, because it is perceived as light and fake if it looks plastic. Make it look heavy - the glossy sheen with the metallic wear and scratching, revealing the metal-ish ceramite beneath.
Those grey spots have a silver undercoat. I think the picture doesn't show it correctly. I'll upload a other picture from my upper legs. Should be more clear then. I hope you can see it better then
